Free Computer Class Schedule

February 2012

All classes are held in the Regional Library Computer Center (RLCC) of the Central (downtown) Library. All class times are 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL CLASSES

Basic PC: Requirements: No previous experience necessary.

Use BPL Website for Software Tutorials

Go to our website: www.bplonline.org

Click on the word Database found at the top of the screen in the red banner.

On the next screen, click on the drop down box or click on “listed by name” and choose Learning Express Library.

You will be asked to login with your name and library card number during the process.

On the Learning Express Library page, click on Popular Software Tutorials from the list of Learning Centers on the left side of the page.

Interactive tutorial courses for Adobe and Microsoft programs are available, plus tutorials for Windows and Mac operating systems.

Adobe programs covered include Flash, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Microsoft programs include Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, SharePoint Designer, Visio, and Word.

Learning Express will ask you to create a user name and password. This allows you to save your work, return to it later, and continue working.
