Mockingbird online Scavenger Hunt

The Regional Library Computer Center is hosting an Online Scavenger Hunt

this month in honor of The Big Read.

To participate, find the answers to these questions using the Alabama Virtual Library (AVL). Or, try using internet search engines. Email your answers to:

One winning entry will be selected APRIL 30, 2008 from all correct entries.

 

1.      To Kill a Mockingbird has been banned in one place or another since it was written. Can you find any other books that have been banned? * Please limit your answer to three.

2.       The trial of Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird has similarities to which real life trial that took place in 1930s Alabama?

3.      In what town did Nelle Harper Lee grow up?

4.      What newspaper does Scout read in the first grade?

  1. Hey, I think your website might be having browser compatibility issues.
    When I look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in
    Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
